A psychiatrist has a medical understanding for mental diseases, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and mental and physical illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>As psychiatric disorders sometimes depend on underlying physical illnesses, the psychiatrist makes an evaluation in order to exclude or confirm such conditions. Being a medical doctor, the psychiatrist has the possibility to prescribe medications.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the services we offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Counseling<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of psychiatric conditions<br \/>\ne.g. ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, tics, eating disorder, sleep disorder, and suspected immunopsychiatric conditions<\/li>\n<li>Medication\/drug prescription<br \/>\ne.g. ADHD-medication, anti-depressive medication and medication f\u00f6r sleep regulation. If your doctor\u2019s appointment is a first-time visit and includes a prescription, the appointment needs to take place in person at the clinic.<\/li>\n<li>Certificates<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations for further treatment and interventions<\/li>\n<li>Referrals to other specialist care units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During your first visit, you and the psychiatrist will discuss the best way forward.
